Menuhin School extends summer school application deadline

Young musicians now have until 19 June to apply for the Yehudi Menuhin School’s 2026 summer school, which welcomes international students aged 11–16.

**The summer school** offers instrumental tuition, chamber music, orchestral playing, choir, academic seminars and wellbeing sessions in the setting of one of the UK’s leading specialist music schools.

Course 1 (20 – 25 July) offers tuition for violin, viola, cello, harp, piano and composition. 

Course 2 (27 July – 1 August) offers tuition for violin, viola, cello, double bass, classical guitar, piano and composition. 

The programme also includes exam preparation workshops and a guest masterclass from violinist Tasmin Little CBE, an alumna of the school.

International students are welcome to apply.
