Established in 2018, Technology in Music Education UK (TiME) is the leading national membership organisation dedicated to advancing the role of music technology in education, and now represents a network of over 1000 practitioners and organisations.
About Technology in Music Education UK
We bring together educators, industry partners, researchers and policymakers to ensure music technology is embedded across all stages of learning – from Early Years to Higher Education, and from mainstream to inclusive and specialist settings.
Policy & Advocacy: We promote the role of music technology in education through engagement with the Department of Education (DoE), Arts Council England (ACE), Ofsted, UK Music and others.
Inclusion & Accessibility: TiME leads nationally recognised work on accessible and adaptive music technologies, is a member of the Inclusive Music Consortium, and partners with SEND educators and disability arts organisations.
