Kate Rounding receives Editor’s award at Music & Drama Education Awards 2026
Technology in Music Education UK (TiME) Executive Director Kate Rounding was presented with the 2026 Editor’s award in recognition of her leadership, advocacy and contribution to music education.
Presenting the award, Music Teacher editor Phil Croydon praised Rounding for her ‘exceptional commitment to inclusive leadership and music-making’, alongside her role in building lasting partnerships between the music technology industry and education. He also highlighted her work as a writer and speaker, sharing insight and expertise with teachers at all stages of their careers.
The Music & Drama Education Awards 2026 took place on 12 February at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London, with the live ceremony presented by radio presenter Jojo Silva. Winners were selected from a pre-announced shortlist, while eight organisations or individuals also received high commendations.
