RSL and Casio partner to support keyboard education across India
The RSL exam board and Casio have announced a strategic partnership combining new learning resources with a nationwide programme of professional development for keyboard teachers in India.
The organisations will jointly publish three physical method books for beginner piano, beginner keyboard and advanced keyboard. These will be accompanied by interactive digital lesson content featuring Casio instruments.
Drawing on RSL’s existing approach to method books alongside newly developed keyboard content, the resources will focus on contemporary music-making, practical musicianship and creativity.
A programme of teacher development workshops will also begin during 2026, delivered by RSL trainers from India and the UK. The sessions will cover teaching techniques, learner engagement, contemporary repertoire and ways of developing creativity through keyboard learning.
Workshops are planned in cities including Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Guwahati, Aizawl, Dimapur, Kochi, Madurai and Tiruchirappalli.
The partners aim to reach more than 150,000 music learners and enthusiasts and over 1,000 teachers in India during the next three years.
